Dear LMS Students and Parents:
I’m excited to announce the spring play for Littleton Middle School, “Who Pushed Humpty Dumpty?” by Tim Ryan. The show will be performed May 17, 18 and 19 at the LMS Cafetorium! This is a mystery for the entire family! There is a large cast of your favorite nursery rhyme characters in some interesting situations: Jack in the Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, Little Jack Horner, The Old Woman Who Lived in the Show and the Big Bad Wolf, to name just a few.
I’m also very excited to announce that I will be your director!
I’m very excited to work with the middle school kids again as the director this
time. Having worked with the schools for the past 7 years as a volunteer for
the shows, I decided to take the leap and direct!
Important Meeting: There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all
families interested in participating in the show on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 6:30
in the middle school cafeteria. This is for returning and new families. If you
can’t make this meeting I will also be at the school at 2:30 on the next day,
Jan. 18. At this time, you will hear more about the show and what my
expectations from students and parents will be. This will also be a chance to
collect all contact information from the parents before auditions as well as
conflicts you may have and emergency information. (IF you can’t make either of
the meetings, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org I will plan a time
to get together with you.)
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Jan 29 and Thursday, Jan 31
from 2:30-4:30 in the LMS cafeteria. A cast list and rehearsal dates will be
posted sometime on Friday, Feb. 1. Mrs. Govang will be assisting me with
